“LUST”

MEET THE MAXWELL FAMILY

“Welcome to the neighborhood, you chose a beautiful day to move in!Everyone’s outside BBQing in our culdesac. We’d love to help you folk get that truck unloaded, save you some time and get some good ole grilled food in your bellies.” Jake and Rob were persistent, Rob did the talking and Jake started helping with the unpacking of the moving truck.

Chuck Maxwell had no choice but to enjoy the kindness he always heard 7even had to offer along with all of it’s God given amenities and luscious beauty. Chuck shook Rob’s hand and waved toward his family as he introduced them. “Well, I’m Charles Maxwell, call me “Chuck”, this here is my wife Lindsey, my daughter April, and that’s Jessica and our one hero, Charles jr. He goes by “Chucky.” Ironic huh?” He giggled when he said “Chucky” like the demon doll, and little boys, well let’s just say they come close.

Charles was an average five nine, five ten foot, blonde haired stocky built fellow not athletic, but probably as strong as an ox, he had light brown church boy God fearing wide oval eyes, that carried a hint of knowing behind them. Lindsey was quite the looker she was around five feet six, one hundred thirty-five pounds, very soft curves not athletic but, well put together. Her eyes were simply beautiful hazel green. April and Jessica were their mom’s doubles, only Jessica wore glasses and had a few freckles across the bridge of her nose with golden blonde natural highlights in her strawberry blonde hair. April was more dirty blonde with those same natural highlights but hers were more strawberry glodenish either way she was gorgeous and well developed between the teenagers. She also was the braces warer of the two and she hated to smile. The wait to get those things off seemed to be eternity!.

Charles junior was five years old and very small for his age. He was seven years younger than Jessica and nine years younger than April. Yet, he behaved as though he was eighteen and they were his little sisters. He was the boss when mom and dad were gone. The girls beat him up every time they babysat him. He loved every single moment. He built his case for blackmailing them, every punch he recorded as he tortured them and ran.

The Maxwell’s were God fearing for the most part. I mean Chuck didn’t believe in any power outside himself and claimed the title of God for himself. Yet. Lindsey knew God and she loved Charles inside out and she believed one day he too would be saved. The children believed it as well.

“Wow, we are finally unpacked and moved in. Our neighbors are amazing!” Lindsey said with a young girls thrill of glee in her voice. They joined the neighborhood BBQ with intentions to set their bedrooms up for sleep tonight as their only goals for the evening. The music was live upbeat and jazzy! They had the entire area smelling delicious and vibe of the crowd was loving and welcoming. They met Josh, Jake’s brother who was working during the move in. They met Rhonda and Robert Phillips. Rhonda promised to bake them her famous cheese cake. Which she really would do. They met almost everyone living in their little part of the town called 7even. Rob and Josh were really good on the grill and Rhonda and a few of the other ladies had already prepared the side dishes; potato salad, corn on the cob, green bean casserole, baked mac n cheese, vanilla cake and ice cream! ” I love music, any kind of music” blared joyfully across the huge propped speakers. The community was alive and well.

2138 Spring Garden cr. Was a broad two story home made of slate stone and wood. It gave off a rustic stormy look! Perfect for the Maxwell family as the were a very spiritual family well everyone but Chuck anyways. The home was a grayish colour with black trim and shutters. It was a marvel in its day with its cathedral ceilings and arched hallways and door ways, beautiful hardwood flooring, crown molding from the early nineteen hundreds, still in showcase conditions. One thing for sure these homes in 7even were built for the long haul and absolutely magnificent.

“Well, Maxwells it’s time to get busy if we want to get in a bed tonight,” Lindsey announced in a loving matter of fact tone. They shook hands, hugged, and waved to their new found family good night. Chuck giggled and quietly asked, “wonder if they found out I was a mortician and you’re a medicine woman, would they still love and embrace us the same?” I’m doing a good word ridding the world of pain during their hardest faced trial in life, and you my dear wife, are a loving caring God fearing godly woman who cherishes the children of your God as if all of them are your personal responsibility. But, we are shunned everywhere we move to.”

Lindsey grabbed Chucks hand, and spoke kindly to her husband in a steady tone while locking eyes with him,” The bible states “My people perish for the lack of knowledge” this includes knowledge they refuse to inquire, not knowing they perish for just not having simple knowledge in specific areas they fear to tamper with because they have been brainwashed from birth all of them, but, those whom God loves and places a desire and thirst for knowledge and righteousness.” She kissed her man on the cheek and finished helping him set up their bedroom. They both turned to go assist the children, but the girls were done already and helping Chucky get settled. Everyone loved this new place.

Their home was six bedrooms, three full bathrooms and Robbie had a half bathroom, with sink and toilet in his room, the girls were happy they would not have to fight over bathroom time ever again. Lindsey was even more happy because the master bedroom had the master bathroom and it was a little bit of Heaven on earth, with it Jacuzzi sized claw foot tub, his and hers vanities side by side and a stand up show with a place to mount a small flat screen t.v. This was her super woman cave. She melted inside thinking of all the possibilities for relaxing calming decorations.
